Episode 58 – Scrape Post Mortem

The audio is a little rough on this one.  Our recording bot’s recording didn’t quite work so I had to rely on a backup one-track OBS recording.  Honestly I thought I had lost this recording too.

Enjoy and Happy New Years

The job is over and the damage done, but we had to get the gang together for one last look at Scrape, a Red Markets campaign.

(I’ve Got) Something Against You

In the final confrontation between StopLoss and Full House, sometimes violence is the answer.

Actual Play – Red Markets – Scrape – EP 4

Wave of Mutilation.

Upon getting a StopLoss server of suspected immunes in the Conda region, Full House has decided it’s time to figure out where Scrape is and raise a posse. Will Bird’s newly outed status as a spy prove to be useful, or will it be what finally drives a wedge between him and Greybeard?

When the supply lines from a neighboring Mennonite farm are interrupted, it is up to Full House to reestablish communication and ensure that trade resumes between the two enclaves.  While investigating the farm, Full House will learn of a much bigger threat that threatens The Conda.

I believe in Mr. Grieves.

An unlikely… family… of Takers comes together to find out where an unaffiliated Taker has gone. There’s more to the story, though, and not just with the client.

Episode 46 – Elevation Post Mortem

After finishing Elevation, the Red Markets campaign written by Sean Farris, we all got back together to discuss the experience we lovingly nicknamed ‘The Gauntlet’. Join us as we reflect on our favorite moments from Elevation.  Learn how things might have played out differently had the Bread Winners made other decisions.

Elevation is a Red Markets supplement written by our game master / market Sean Farris.  Elevation comes with the fully fleshed out enclave of Elevation, along with the job lines seen depicted in this actual play series.

Where did we get all those cool new toys?  Why Veblen Goods, of course.  Veblen Goods is a Red Markets supplement cowritten by Sean Farris and Matt Campen of The Drunk & The Ugly podcast.  Veblen Goods provides players with new tools, technology, weapons, vehicles and optional rules.

You can find both Elevation and Veblen Goods at DriveThru RPG.

You may have noticed that we are playtesting new taker tough spots. Nick Schaake (Nex) created these and you can view them here.

Actual Play- Red Markets – Elevation – EP 4 One By Land, Three If By Train

It’s moving day and do or die for Elevation. The Breadwinners have been tapped to protect the enclave’s precious cargo as it makes its way by train to St. Louis. They’re prepared for a nasty fight, but can they overcome the enemies they’ve made along the way?

Nick –  Nex – The salesman for the Breadwinners, who had a surefire business opportunity. A slick tongue and good business strategy means nothing when going up against a controlled economy, though.

Brownie – Von –  A tinkerer familiar with a wrench as tool and weapon. A bit too fussy for his own good, and with, uh, Extreme Luck.

Adam – Skidz – Her taker brother vanished, so now she has to take up the taker life to care for her niece. She’s quick and on-edge, which is an asset on the job.

Chris – Decoy – The hero of Elevation, who played a crucial part in taking back the grain silos during an occupation. Definitely not dumb as a post.
