Our story begins with the Die Hards, a taker crew who have survived the horrors of the Loss and are close to achieving their retirement dreams. They only need to complete one more job for a Mr. JOLS. In taker slang, JOLS stands for “just one last score”, a term used by takers who are looking for a big payday that will allow them to escape the Loss and return to the Recession in luxury. But Mr. JOLS is not a generous employer and many takers who attempt this last score pay the ultimate price.
