When a supposed device that can cause physical matter to wither and disintegrate is placed up for bid at a private sale auction, wealthy scientist and philanthropist Professor Lionel Finch tasks our investigators with the job preventing the device from falling into the wrong hands. With the auction just days away, the players sat about investigating the device’s creator George Pelfry and the circumstances that led to the creation of his device.
