Following the Caduceus Organization’s orders, the party begins searching Mayan ruins the body of an ancient mummy.  Unfortunately for them it appears that members of the Bolivian army have also joined in the search.  Acquiring the services of a guide, the adventurers travel to a site where heavy artillery has uncovered something that was better left undisturbed.

Having finally arrived at camp, the team finds themselves in the middle of an uneasy truce between the aid workers and the Bolivian soldiers.  With their escort task accomplished, the team tries to reestablish communication with the Caduceus Foundation.  Meanwhile someone in the camp could possibly be more than they let on to be.

As the Chaco War rages on between Bolivia and Paraguay a group of adventurers employed by the Caduceus Foundation escort a caravan of nurses, doctors, and much needed medical supplies to civilians caught up in the war. Deep in the jungle of Gran Chaco the party will see the horrors of war and something much worse.

Approached by Amina Scurlock, the Seven Mutes are tasked with helping Amina succeed her dear uncle as head of the Scurlock Company. For this succession to work, Oliver Scurlock must die.

In the wake of a zombie apocalypse of super hero proportions, the remnants of humanity float above Earth in the super max security prison known as the Shackle. After a scavenger team on a supply run fails to return, an unlikely team of super powered refugees is assembled to go investigate the team’s disappearance and bring back supplies. 

Aaron –  Mike – Son of the super villain Doctor Worm. Claims he isn’t a mutant. 

Adam – Cailum  –  Crossroad demon who inherited the position through a bit of nepotism.  

Chris – Janice  –  Teleporter.  When someone offers you psychedelic mushrooms to cure schizophrenia, it’s going to break bad. 

Nathan –  Roswell –   Stranded on Earth after a failed scouting mission, Roswell was convinced to turn his engineering skills to helping the US government. Now after a comfortable life time he’s forced to back into the fray to protect the new home he has. 

Ethan – Xiphos – Small time criminal magic user who rose up the food chain after all the other super villains turned into zombies

Episode 38 – Origins 2019 Wrap-up

While Origins 2019 is quickly becoming a distant memory, you too can recreate this magical experience. First, have four great days of fun playing board games and tabletop RPGs. Next, get a star-studded cast of special guests such as Role Palying Public Radio’s  Ross Payton, Ethan and Greg from Technical Difficulties, and Birk – podcast mercenary.  Lastly, lock yourself up in a frigid conference room. If none are available, you might be able to record at Mt. Everest’s base camp.
